On my last trip I used prebuilt belay stations (apline equilizers with self locking biners, docking loop and power point all pre set up)
and it saved me considerable time as I usually spend time doing the same process at the belay.
You guys find any better ways of doing this?

I was cruising the isles of the Outdoor Retailer these past few days and saw that nearly everyone has some new very light sling stuff on the market.
shop around to go for light stuff. With everyone offering the light webbing there's bound to be some good deals on super light "web-o-let" type stuff. BD had a super light daisy chaing that look awesome.

I've used other folks web-olets and similar things. No question they are faster than a cordelette.
However, on the Nose for instance, many of the stations are new solid bolts, and some have chain equalized master points. point: when you know the anchors will be "simple" I do not recomend the extra weight of a cordelette of web-olet or alpine equilizers. I lock in the rope at the equalized point then back it up in one other spot. If there is not an equalized point I make an equalized point out of the rope or runners. It would be an interesting competition to see which method could be done quickest. My guess is the person with a greater famialarity with setting up anchors will be faster to the point that the gear used to build the anchor will be of less significance.- then it comes down to whether one equlaizing piece of webbing is worth the weight.
I will almost always bring the cordellette or web-olet if it's a casual free climbing day, especially on an unknown route. If I'm going for a speed record, I'll never bring a cordellette or similar device.
best.
