Felix Slamovics was diagnosed with ALS about two years ago. He may have four to 20 months left to live. Felix thought that a grand purposeful adventure was something he should do. He was one of the best climbers in Israel and had never climbed The Best Route in the World*, - The Nose route on El Capitan. | ![]() Felix smiling through the adventure. |
Felix started work on organizing a team around him in Israel and creating contacts in the US to work on not only helping Felix and his team climb The Nose route, but raising money and awareness for ALS. |

"I have met many world class people in my travels and while staying right around my home. Felix is one of the most determined persons I've ever met. His ability to coordinate and inspire all the people involved with this project was amazing. I've found another great person to inspire me in my pursuits." - Hans |
